The Argos East Property Management Company was founded in 1988 by Theo and Stacy Skartsiaris, as a full service property management and leasing company. Our company develops and manages a diverse portfolio of properties throughout Kalamazoo County. Presently a woman owned and Michigan based company, we specialize in office, commercial and retail properties.
Stacy Skartsiaris
Theo and Stacy Skartsiaris founded Theo & Stacy’s Enterprise and Argos East in 1973. Having come from a small town in the south of Greece, the Peloponnese, they established their first restaurant in Flushing, New York in 1969. Having chosen Kalamazoo as their home since 1973, they opened several restaurants where they pass on their rich Greek heritage of fine foods and hospitality.
In 1978, Theo & Stacy’s Enterprises’ real estate division was created. Over the next thirty years, Theo & Stacy added to their portfolio by purchasing various properties in and around Kalamazoo.
Upon Theo’s death in 1994, Stacy became the sole managing partner of the property investment portfolio.
Stacy is currently actively involved in all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the businesses. Consequently, Theo & Stacy’s has evolved into a women owned business by adding Stacy’s two managing partners: Betty Peristeridis, in charge of leasing, property management and property redevelopment and Joanna French, in charge of legal affairs.
Betty Peristeridis
Betty Peristeridis joined the team of Argos East and Theo & Stacy’s in October of 1996 and has been a managing partner since 2012. She has been actively involved in real estate development and management of the companies with a concentration on leasing and tenant acquisition.
Betty Peristeridis is actively involved in numerous city wide and charitable organizations. Her involvement on various boards with the city allows her to keep her finger on the pulse and be a presence in Kalamazoo. To further enhance her participation in the companies, she received her Masters of Science in Accountancy from WMU in 2001.

Joanna French
Joanna French joined the Argos East team in 2000 and has been a managing partner in charge of legal affairs since 2012.
Joanna French is a registered patent attorney whose focus of expertise is in intellectual and real property. Joanna’s practice is focused on trademark, copyright, domain name, and related matters. Her areas of practice include portfolio development, clearance, prosecution, and maintenance of domestic and foreign trademarks and copyrights.
Currently, Joanna is in practice with Hueschen and Sage in Kalamazoo.
Joanna graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, LLM, Intellectual Propert in, 2004/ Thomas M. Cooley Law School, JD, cum laude in 2000 and was Managing Editor for Thomas M. Cooley Law Review.
